I am called Debleb, and am the creator of the Younger World. This world is a project which I have worked on continually for many years now, though it looks little like it did at its birth, and I suspect that given time it will once again be a foreign place.

I have long been interested in imaginary worlds and creatures and it is that interest which lead to the Younger World, my longest lived creation. My inspiration is drawn from many sources. Earthsea, Monster Hunter, and the works of Yoshitaka Amano are some that stand out in my mind.

I created this world to explore, as the name may imply, a younger, wilder world, an untamed world in which the boundaries between human and animal are fine or absent and which exists in a dreamlike state in which the distinction of reality and myth is not always clear to the onlooker. A land with no humans, but many people.

I hope that this world may be even slightly as vibrant and captivating to you as it has been me.
